Complex Trauma & Dissociation equips counselors, pastors, prayer ministers, and community caregivers with the tools to recognize trauma symptoms, navigate complex healing journeys, and guide others toward lasting breakthrough in Christ.
Explore the definitions and dimensions of complex trauma and learn how to appropriately measure and respond to what you’re seeing in those you serve.
Learn to identify derealization, depersonalization, shock, PTSD, and dissociation, so you can respond wisely rather than inadvertently prolonging the healing process.
Develop strategies for walking alongside individuals as they heal, including how to distinguish your responsibilities from God’s role in the process and avoid burnout.
Explore how dissociation affects an estimated 75% of those who feel “stuck” in their healing, and learn four steps to healing from dissociation with practical classroom application.
Gain a working knowledge of L.A.C.K. Skills and learn how to apply them practically with clients to bridge gaps in the healing community.
Learn how to set appropriate boundaries, sustain your own wellbeing, and engage in this demanding work without becoming overwhelmed or losing sight of your role.

For Prayer Ministry Certification graduates
This course is designed for counselors, pastors, life coaches, prayer ministers, and any community caregivers — including social workers, school teachers, medical personnel, and first responders — who are eager to deepen their knowledge and skills in complex trauma and dissociation.
Yes! If you have not previously filled out the School of Ministry Training Application, you will need to apply and pay the $35 application fee. Apply here. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
If you have previously graduated as a Certified Deeper Walk Prayer Minister, you do not need to fill out the training application again — there is a separate form for you to fill out here.
Plan for approximately 4-6 hours per week — the live session plus personal study and practice time between sessions.
If you miss a session, you will be given access to that week’s teaching video and any assignments you may have missed.

Yes! There are 24 CE credit hours available for this course for an additional $50. You can register for CEs when you enroll in the course or click here.
To receive your certificate you must have: successfully completed the course, filled out the post-course evaluation form, and completed all quizzes with a passing grade of 75% or higher.
